Richard "Ricky" Bradley Marsh

Mr. Richard ""Ricky"" Bradley Marsh, 71, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2017. Ricky was born in Forsyth County on May 7, 1946, to the late Raymond Lester Marsh and Mozelle Bradley Marsh. Ricky graduated from James A. Gray High School in 1965. His high school years were some of the happiest of his life. He was proud to be the manager for the varsity football team and a member of the school band. Following high school, he wanted to serve his country and joined the United States Navy. He received an honorable discharge soon after joining because of poor vision. Ricky is survived by his son, Christian ""Chris"" Morae Marsh of Myrtle Beach, SC; one granddaughter, Emily Marsh of Thomasville, NC; a brother, William T. ""Bill"" Marsh of Elkin, NC; and two aunts, Willie Dancy of Hayes, NC and Peggy Bradley of Winston-Salem. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at Pine Hill Friends Meeting Cemetery in Ararat, NC with Pastor John Rights officiating. He loved his God and Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Ricky never met a stranger and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
