Richard "Richy" Thomas McHone

Richard “Richy” Thomas McHone, 50, passed away unexpectedly on August 23, 2026. He was born on March 7, 1976. Richy was a kind and loving man whose caring heart and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He had a special love for fishing and enjoyed spending time outdoors. He will be remembered for his kindness, his loving nature and the memories he created with his family and friends.

Richy was preceded in death by his father, James (Frank) McHone, Sr.; grandfathers, Richard (Ed) Blizard and Thomas (Tom) McHone; and grandmother, Betty Sheets.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Deborah “Debbie” McHone; partner, Christie Jackson; sister, Amy Phillips; brother, James “Jamy” McHone (Dana); niece, Ariel McHone; nephews, Logan Mankaryos, Kieran Phillips and Thomas McHone; grandmother, Callie McHone; and grandfather, James “Jimmy” Sheets; along with many other family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
