Richard Kyle Stimson

Mr. Richard Kyle Stimson, age 70 of Lewisville, passed away Monday, April 17, 2023.  He was born June 10, 1952 in Forsyth County to Richard Duran Stimson and Doris Biesecker Stimson.  He was a graduate of Campbell University and the president of Stimson and Son Builders before his retirement in 2014.  He was a lifetime member of the Lewisville Historical Society and had a deep love of 18^th century history. He authored one book, "The Great Wagon Road of Forsyth County" and participated in Revolutionary War reenactments.  He is survived by his wife, Ann Carter Stimson of the home; his parents, Richard and Doris Stimson of Lewisville; a step-son, Chris Marsh; and a granddaughter, Emily (Josh) Blomer.  A private graveside service will be at Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery presided by Rev.
