Richard Tamer

Mr. Richard Tamer, 61 of Winston-Salem passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at his residence. He was born on May 31, 1957 in Winston-Salem to Jimmie and Grace Long Tamer. Mr. Tamer was a member of Old Town Baptist Church. He was a devout Christian who loved Jesus. Mr. Tamer was a partner at Cannon and Company L.L.P. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 40 years, Tina Lawson Tamer; three children, Jonathan “T.J.” Tamer and wife Alyson, Jeremy Tamer and wife Natalie, and Megan Tamer; six grandchildren, Colt, Wyatt, Nora, Lucy, Sawyer, and a baby boy on the way; his puppy Daisy; four brothers, David Tamer and wife Vickie, Mark Tamer, Philip Tamer, Paul K. Tamer; numerous beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Old Town Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Love That Builds, Inc. P.O.
