Richard "Rick" Terry

KERNERSVILLE - Mr. Richard “Rick” Bryan Terry, 64, passed away January 22, 2019 at Moses Cone Hospital. He was born June 20, 1954 to the late Charles Richard and Alice Pierce Terry. Richard was an Army Veteran, he loved his family and grandchildren more than anything. Mr. Terry was a police officer in Jacksonville, NC then was the manager of auto sales at Mike Johnson Ford in Madison.

Surviving are; his loving wife, Pamela Edwards Terry, one son, Roger Terry (Erika), two daughters; Julie Kornegay (Rodney), and Christina Akers (Jarrod), seven grandchildren; Tyler, Kyleigh, Addison, Brayden, Harrison, Kelsey, and Cassidy, one sister, Denise Lamb (Wally), two nieces; Michelle, and Alice, three great nieces and nephews; Hunter, Pierce, and Olivia.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, January 25, 2019 at Lewis Family Cemetery in Sneads Ferry with Pastor Brian Young officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday, January 24, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Juvenile Diabetes – Piedmont Chapter 216 West Market Street b, Greensboro NC 27401.
