Mr. Rickie Wayne Krupel passed away Thursday, February 13, 2014. He was born February 21, 1954 in Lynchburg, VA to the late Edggie Edwin Krupel and Ollie Virginia Baber Krupel. Mr. Krupel retired from R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Krupel was preceded in death by two sisters: Janet and Cookie Krupel. Surviving are two sons: Greg Krupel (Whitney) and Rex Krupel (Jennifer); three grandchildren: Dillon, Addyson, and Hailey Krupel; two brothers: Roger Krupel (Genie) and Michael Krupel (Georgia); one sister: Suzanne Taylor Burrleson (Phillip); the mother of his children, Linda Krupel; his girlfriend, Cheri Myers; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 17, 2014 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall.
