Ricky Ballard

Kernersville- Mr. Ricky Wayne Ballard, 56, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center. Ricky was born on March 31, 1962 in Forsyth County to the late Robert Lee Ballard, Jr and Joan McCuiston Pearson. He was a hard worker who started working when he was just 15 ½ years old. Ricky loved his family and never parted ways without saying “I love you”. He will be greatly missed by all of his friends and family. In addition to his father, Ricky was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Sue Hardy Ballard; brother, Tony Lee Ballard; and his step father, Robert Harris Pearson. He is survived by his son, Johnathon Wayne Ballard; his mother, Joan Ballard Pearson; nephew, Robert Lee Ballard III (wife, Samantha); niece, Courtney Ballard; and numerous other friends and family. A funeral service for Ricky will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor Craig Peak officiating. Burial will follow the service at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm until 1:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
