Ricky Lee Cornatzer

         Mr. Ricky Lee Cornatzer, 64, passed away on March 23, 2026. He was born February 20, 1962, to the late Roy Lee Cornatzer, Jr. and Jo Ann Speaks Cornatzer. Ricky worked for many years as a self-employed contractor who took pride in his work in drywall, landscaping, and residential construction. He enjoyed tending to his flowers, talking with friends, watching NASCAR races, and cheering on the Carolina Tar Heels. In addition to his parents, Ricky was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, David Linville. Ricky leaves behind his beloved, Frances Mason, of over 20 years; his children, Avery McMillan (Grant) and Jackson Cornatzer (Angelia); his sister, Vickie Linville; his niece, Laura Clark (Daniel); and his great-nieces, Sophia and Ava Clark. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Forsyth Memorial Park with Pastor Mitch Monroe and Pastor Jackson Cornatzer officiating. Ricky’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel is assisting the Cornatzer family.
