Riley B. Spence, 36 years old of Kernersville, NC, passed away on June 9th, 2025, surrounded by loving family. Riley was born October 4th, 1988, in Concord, NC, the son of Bradford Eugene Spence and Tina Louise Spence. He was a kind and funny man who always put his family at the center of his life. His love for God was evident in his daily Bible reading and heartfelt prayers. He had a deep passion for gardening and working outdoors, finding peace in nature. Riley’s love extended to animals, especially his cat Possum and fish Wallace. He also found his soulmate in Amanda, and their love was unwavering. Riley had a way of getting on your nerves one minute and making you laugh the next, always striving to make the most out of every situation. To know Riley was to know love, and his warmth and spirit will be forever remembered.
Riley especially loved cooking, gardening, yard work, working on his truck, fishing, being outside, and calling his family and friends. Riley loved working as a Forklift driver.
Riley is survived by his loving spouse, Amanda Riggleman (Spence); his bonus dad, Tracy Boyles; his mother, Tina Spence; his siblings, Steven (Cassie) Barnette, Samantha (Sadie) Spence, and Kaitlyn Washington (Connor Elliott); his nephews, Braylen Brooks and Hunter Barnette; his grandma, Jamie Morgan; his aunt Lisa (Mark) Howard; his uncle, Eugene Brownfield; his father and mother-in-law, Stephen and Kathy Riggleman; sibling in laws, Stephanie (Jeremy) Knight, Sara (Casey) Aldridge; his nephew in laws, Scott Kemp, Andrew Kemp, Brandon Kemp, Hunter Kemp, and Ethan Aldridge; and his beloved pets, Possum and Wallace; along with many cousins, extended family members and friends that loved him dearly.
Preceding Riley in death are Bradford Spence; dad, Raymond and Frances Spence; grandparents, Ralph Morgan; Grandpa.
Services will be held and announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, continue to send prayers to the family and all those who loved and knew him. Cards are welcomed and any donations will go towards the cost of any final expenses. Thank you for all the support and kind words.
