Rita Prevette Blackburn

Mrs. Rita Prevette Blackburn, 85, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Rita was born June 3, 1927 in Wilkes County to the late Treally Winford Prevette and Ina Wiles Prevette. She was a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years James Warren Blackburn and her two brothers Joe Prevette and Revis Prevette. She is survived by her two daughters Debbie Blackburn Rowland of Clemmons and husband Bob , Ann Blackburn of Winston-Salem and Jim Zellinger, her grandson James Harris of Clemmons, brother Allen Prevette of Hays, NC, sister-in-law Frances Prevette of Winston-Salem and sister-in-law Fern Prevette of Hays, NC. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
