Rita Jessie

KERNERSVILLE – Mrs. Rita Marie Morgan Jessie, 77, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Kernersville Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 17, 1941 in Guyan, West Virginia to the late Harrison David and Ruby Parton Morgan. Rita was the best wife and mother anyone could ever have. She loved to take care of her family, she never complained, and will be deeply missed!

Surviving are; her loving husband of 57 years, Arvil Lee Jessie, her daughter Janet Jessie Matthews and her husband, Robert, a granddaughter, Jessie Nicole Matthews, four sisters; Dorothy Goins, and husband Arnold, Teresa Trent, Kathy Jeffrey, and Sherry Morgan, a brother, James Morgan and his wife Mary, and many special nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2019 in Palm Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel in Methany, West Virginia with Pastor Tommy Knotts officiating. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the Jessie family.
