Rita Jones Mooney

Mrs. Rita Jones Mooney, our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother, passed to eternal life Friday afternoon, December 20, 2013. She was born in Buffalo, NY on September 3, 1918 to the late Elmer and Bernice Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Mooney; and a granddaughter Christine Lark. Rita is survived by three daughters Sharon Jackson (Perry), Shirley Howard, and Nancy Flynt (Dale); five grandchildren Kenneth Jackson (Julie), Rita Jackson (Susie), Bryan Jackson (Wendy), Rebecca Johnson (Bill), and Robin Whitesell; seven great grandchildren Emmy Jackson, Max Jackson, Kaitlyn Lark, Haleigh Lark, Hannah Stothart (Alec), Maggie Whitesell, and Ethan Whitesell; and two great-great grandchildren Madison Stothart and Riley Stothart. There will be a funeral mass at 11:00 AM Monday December 23, 2013 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church with Friar William Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park.
