Robah "Leonard" Snyder III

Mr. Robah “Leonard” Snyder III, 93, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2026. Mr. Snyder was born on June 10, 1933, to the late Mr. R.L. Snyder Jr. and Mrs. Pearl Bowman Snyder.

Leonard worked as an analyst at Western Electric, where he retired after 30 years of service. In 1953, he was drafted into the United States Army, where he served in the 1st Armored Division. Leonard was also a member of the West Bend Masonic Lodge for 65 years and was a Past Mason.

Above all, he was a loving husband, father, and friend to all. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years, Mary Elizabeth Mayberry Snyder; daughter, Beth Branin (Michael) of Richmond, VA; stepdaughter, Teri Meeks (Michael) of Clemmons, NC; stepson, Tony Golding of Mocksville, NC; four grandchildren, Ashley, Austin, Shelley Anne, and Matthew; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Susie; and his nephew, David.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 16, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. A private family interment will be held at Westlawn Gardens of Memory.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
