Robert “Bob” Edwin Curlee, Jr., 92, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, January 4, 2026, at his home. He was born in Florida on January 5, 1933, to the late Robert and Annie Durban Curlee. Mr. Curlee graduated from the University of Florida with a Mechanical Engineering degree. He retired from Western Electric/AT&T with many years of service. Bob was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church. Bob was an active member of the Rotary Club of Western Forsyth for many years, where he proudly served as the Sergeant-at-Arms, was a Paul Harris Fellow, and helped serve his club and community in many different capacities. Preceding him in death was his first wife, Eloise Curlee and a son, Kent Curlee. Surviving is his wife, JoAnn Testo-Curlee; granddaughter, Ellie Hutchens; stepdaughter, Patti Cox (Dr. Stephen Cox); three step-grandchildren, Lauren Cox, Paul Cox (Emily Gladden), and Sarah Purcell (Skip); also surviving are six step-great-grandchildren. A private service will be held for the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rotary Club of Western Forsyth, PO Box 30561 Winston-Salem, NC 27130. Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel is serving the family of Mr. Curlee.
