Robert Abraham Buddy" Brinegar

Buddy-He fought a good fight and he kept the faith. Mr. Robert Abraham ""Buddy"" Brinegar, Jr., 76, passed on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 after a long period of declining health. He was a former employee of Sara Lee and a member of Hoepwell Moravian Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Geraldine Cline Brinegar; two sons, Kevin Brinegar and Keith Brinegar and wife, Sherri all of Kernersville; one daughter, Tammy Lamm of Cary; 5 grandchildren, Suzanne, Jennifer, Matthew and wife, Stephanie, Alex and Megan; 4 great-grandchildren, Josh, Lauren, Alexis and Logan and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one son, Paul Alexander Brinegar. The funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 pm at Hopewell Moravian Church with Rev. Jeff Carter and Rev. Wally Yarborough officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends tonight from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
