Robert Randolph "Bob" Bruce

Mr. Robert Randolph ""Bob"" Bruce, 82, passed away Friday, November 4, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born May 2, 1934 in Pulaski County, VA to the late Hattie Wilma McCoy Bruce and Harold Randolph Bruce. Bob proudly served his country in the United States Navy aboard the USS Strong DD758 during the Korean Conflict. He was a faithful member of Rural Hall Moravian Church. Bob retired from Spector-Redball Trucking (Hennis) and from the City of Winston-Salem. He is survived by his loving wife, June Sheets Bruce; two sons, Randy Bruce (Sue) and Tony Bruce; four grandchildren: Erik, Logan, Patti, and Ryan; and one brother, John Bruce. A graveside service will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Crestview Memorial Park followed by a memorial service 12:00 p.m. at Rural Hall Moravian Church. The family will receive friends in the Fellowship Hall following the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rural Hall Moravian Church, PO Box 487, Rural Hall, NC 27045.
