Robert Glenn Church

Robert Glenn Church, 78, passed away Monday, July 28, 2025, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born in Forsyth County on August 8, 1946, to the late Hobert Church and Irene Joyce Goslen. Robert served in the U.S. Army and proudly served with the American Legion & VFW of Clemmons providing military honors to veterans. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church for 27 years. Robert enjoyed camping with his friends and family and watching westerns. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandson, Travis, which led them to take the ultimate trip of a lifetime traveling out West, pulling the camper. Preceding him in death were his siblings, twin brother, Richard Church, Joyce Scott, Bill Coe, Peggy Ellis, Shirley Moorefield, Butch Church, and Dixie Pfaff. Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Martha Cox Church; daughter, Dydra Anne Church; and his grandson, Travis Hester and his wife, Aoi Hester. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, August 1, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel with Pastor Josh Boles officiating. Entombment will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory with full military honors. The family will receive friends from 11:30-1:00 prior to the funeral.
