Robert Lasseter

Mr. Robert Kenneth Lasseter, 94, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2022 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.  He was born in Forsyth County on October 18, 1928 to the late William Morgan and Alice Witt Lasseter.  Mr. Lasseter was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during WWII and was a member of Crews United Methodist Church.  He retired from Norfolk Southern Railway.  Mr. Lasseter enjoyed golfing, fishing, and doing yardwork.  Preceding him in death along with his parents was a brother, William Morgan Lasseter.  Surviving are his wife, Phyllis Arrington Lasseter; daughter, Angela Grant (Brian); grandson, Matthew Conway and a nephew, Arnold Lasseter (Gracie).  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 PM prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane Winston-Salem, NC 27103.  Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
