Robert Long 'Bobby' Parrish

Robert Long ""Bobby"" Parrish, 78, passed away at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home on December 4, 2013. Bobby was born April 26, 1935 to Cecil Elwood Parrish and Amanda James Parrish in Davie County. He was self-employed as a painter. Bobby was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Greene Parrish. Survivors include his son, Thomas Randy Parrish; daughter, Barbara Church (Ronald); grandchildren, Traci Tennille Cobbler (Shawn), Michael Brian Parrish, and William Joshua Church (Freedom); great grandchildren, Noah Coleman, and J.J. Pearson; brothers, Nathan Parrish, and James Parrish; several nieces and nephews; and a special caregiver, Cynthia. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Westlawn Gardens of Memory with Wayne Worrell officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kate B.
