Mr. Robert Gray Russell, Jr., 54, passed away Monday, January 18, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born in Forsyth County to Robert Gray Russell, Sr. and Dorothy Fearrington Russell. Mr. Russell was a 20 year veteran of Boy Scouts of America currently serving as an Adult Leader. He was preceded in death by his father. Surviving is his wife of 31 years, Paige Russell; son, Phillip Henry Russell of Clemmons; also surviving is his mother, Dorothy Russell of Clemmons. A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel. A private graveside service will follow. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Old Hickory Council/ Boy Scouts of America, 6600 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, NC 27106.
