Robert Louis Stafford

Robert Louis Stafford, 86, formerly of Raleigh, North Carolina passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 5th, 2024 at Bermuda Commons Assisted Living in Advance.

Robert was born on February 8th, 1938, in Staffordsville, Virginia, to the late Dan and Janie Stafford.  Robert held many jobs throughout his career but excelled in any kind of sales.  He loved his work and would never formally retire as he enjoyed staying busy.  He had a great ability to connect with others and build long-lasting relationships.  Robert had a passion for country music, reading, and cars.  He will be remembered for always wanting to go out of his way to help others.  He was a member of Midway Baptist Church in Raleigh and loved his church family. Robert is survived by his son, Robbie Stafford (Alyssa); grandchildren, Christopher Stafford (Jessica), Kristina Koontz, Barrett Stafford, Eleanor Stafford; and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, George Friedenstab, Willie Wilson, Arnold Stafford, Dewey Stafford, Lois Poff; sons, Phillip Stafford, Gary Stafford.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Robert’s memory.

Robert will be interred at the Thornspring United Methodist Church Cemetery, Pulaski, Virginia.
