Robert Ferree Stanfield

Mr. Robert “Bob” Ferree Stanfield, 77, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2023.  He was born May 16, 1946, in Forsyth County to the late Hymes and Estelle Stanfield.  Robert was very much a people person.  He was always looking to help a neighbor or friend and always put others needs ahead of his own.  Robert was a very active person who enjoyed gardening around his house, walking, but most of all, golfing.  He enjoyed everything from playing to watching golf and did so whenever the chance presented itself.  Robert retired from PEM Engineering with 20 plus years of service as an inspector.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sandy Griffin.  Mr. Stanfield is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Elsie G. Stanfield; two brothers, Jim Stanfield and David Stanfield (Chris); three children: Bobby Stanfield, Pamela Ragur (Tim), and Jeremy Stanfield; and four grandchildren.
