Robert G. ""Bob"" Stenberg, age 75, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away peacefully at Forsyth Hospital on Sunday, July 16, 2017. He was born May 4, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Helen Anna Bucher Stenberg and Gustof Adolph Stenberg. For 56 years he was a loving and devoted husband to his surviving wife, Nancy Dittman Stenberg. Other survivors include daughter Carolyn Stenberg Ballard of Winston-Salem, NC; son Kevin Arthur Stenberg of Kansas City, KS; three grandchildren Alexander Ballard, Meghan Ballard and Rebecca Beaudry and husband Daniel; and one great grandchild Madeline Beaudry. Also surviving is his brother George William (Bill) Stenberg and wife Fran Stenberg.
A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, July 22nd at 2pm at Lutheran Church of the Epiphany, 5220 Silas Creek Parkway Winston-Salem, NC with Rev. Doug Kearney officiating. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall following the service. The family will have a private service of internment at the church columbarium.
The family would like to thank the various doctors, nurses and medical staff who were involved in Bob's loving care over the last eighteen months.
