Robert Edward Stillie

Mr. Robert Edward Stillie, 69, of Winston-Salem, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born March 6, 1940 in Forsyth County to Lummie Ray and Sadie Johnson Stillie. Mr. Stillie was a member of the Piedmont Chapter of Model A Restorers Club. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving is his wife of 48 years, Linda S. Stillie of the home; two daughters, Deborah Zeigler and husband Mark of McDonough, GA and Robin Coe of Winston-Salem; two brothers, Lum R. Stillie, Jr. of Lewisville and Donald Gray Stillie and wife Phyllis of Winston-Salem; four grandchildren, Kevin Coe, Kellie Zeigler, Holly Coe, and Kristie Zeigler. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 16 at Love's United Methodist Church Cemetery with Dr. Carl Miner officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:15-1:15 p.m. Friday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Ct., Glen Allen, VA 23060.
