Robert Webster

Mr. Robert Ames Webster, 86, of Pinnacle, NC, (formerly of Westfield, NY) passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017 due to natural causes. He was enlisted in to the Marine Corps from 1958 - 1960 during the Korean Conflict. He worked most of his life in construction and ran heavy equipment. After retirement he continued to work as a maintenance supervisor at the Lake Erie State Park in Brocton, NY. He was a "Lifetime Member" of the Lake Chautauqua Memorial VFW Post 8647 in Mayville, NY. He is survived by a son, Mark Webster (Bonnie), of King, NC; a daughter, Debra Sherman, of Pinnacle, NC; four grandchildren: Samantha Webster, Courtney Webster, Alisha Sherman, and Dylan Webster; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Webster; his mother, Marjory Ames Webster; and his sister, Elizabeth Morgenstern, of Westfield, NY.
