Robin Brittain

Oak Ridge, NC- Mrs. Robin Whitman Brittain, 58, passed away at the beautiful house she made into a home, October 14, 2017. Robin was born June 3, 1959 to Betty Bodford Whitman and the late Henry Abraham Whitman. A Winston-Salem native, Robin was well known for her love of her North Carolina roots. She was a supportive Army wife, loving mother, compassionate friend, and strong Christian woman. She is best remembered sitting on her front porch with her dogs on her lap or sitting on the beach with her toes in the sand listening to the waves.

Robin is survived by her loving husband Rickie Roger Brittain; daughter, Mariah Megan Brittain; mother, Betty Whitman; and her sister, Debbie Whitman Herman.

Robin's service will be held at 2:00pm, Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Bethel United Methodist Church in Winston-Salem with Pastor Christi Taylor officiating. In lieu of flowers, Robin requested donations be made to the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation. The family requests all attending the memorial service to please bring a seashell in memory of Robin and her love of the beach.
