Robin Kay Weavil

KERNERSVILLE - Robin Kay Weavil, 65, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Davie Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Robin was born on June 20, 1960 in Forsyth County to Leroy and Sadie Swaim Weavil. She was a graduate of High Point University and worked for Thomas Built Buses for over 30 years.

Robin enjoyed reading and had a heart for her feline companions. She also loved to travel, especially taking cruises.

Robin was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Weavil; and a niece, Megan Weavil Hanback.

Surviving are her mother, Sadie Weavil; a brother, Tim Weavil and his children, Brandon Weavil (Vanessa), Bailey Kolb (Mike), Blair Macy Schmidt (Stu), Blake Weavil (Vey) and great nieces, Willow Weavil, Charlie and Coda Kolb; a brother, Gary Weavil (Janet) and his child, Matt Weavil; special cousins, Randy, Sandy and Miranda Weavil; and many loving extended family members, all of whom she adored.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
