Robyn Dawn Collins Cromer

Robyn Dawn Collins Cromer was born to the late Ollie Groce and Alton Collins on July 25, 1958, in Yadkin County, NC. She passed away at home on Thursday, May 7, 2026, following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Robyn graduated from Starmount High School and Forsyth Tech with an associate degree in accounting. She worked for Integon Insurance for several years. However, her most fulfilling career was being a teacher’s assistant working with students with exceptional needs. Robyn retired from Stokes County Schools to become a “Lolly” to her precious grandsons. Her love of children was also apparent in her work at church. Robyn desired for all children to know her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Robyn’s greatest joy in life was her family. In addition to her parents, she is preceeded in death by her mother and father-in-law, Viola and Bryson Cromer. Robyn is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Jerry Cromer; two daughters, Haley Ashworth (Brealon) and Sydney Cromer (Jake Lewis); two grandsons, Maddox Rhett Ashworth and Luca Bryce Ashworth; one sister, Debbi Collins (Tom Lawson); one brother, Danny Collins (Belynda); three sisters-in-law, Linda Kiser, Becky Faw, and Sally Williams (Bill); and several beloved nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Cameron Pywell and Mountain Valley Hospice for the care given to Robyn during this battle.

A funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 PM Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Glenn Van Meter, Minister, Peter Cain, Minister, and Pastor Brian Beverly. Interment will follow at Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
