Roger Cardwell

Mr. Roger Lee Cardwell, 67, of Winston-Salem, passed away Friday, December 15, 2017.

Roger was born August 26, 1950 in Forsyth County to Alva and Elfriede Cardwell. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He owned his own business as a landscaper and his passion in life was grafting and growing roses. Roger was preceded in death by his father, wife, Cheryl Cardwell, and brother, Ronald Cardwell.

Roger is survived by his mother, Elfriede Cardwell; brothers, Dieter Cardwell and wife Adair, Ralph Cardwell and wife Neva, and Mark Cardwell; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 11 AM at Christ Lutheran Church, 3205 S. Main Street, Winston-Salem.
