Roger Clay Essick

Mr. Roger Clay Essick, 67, passed away Monday October 7, 2024. He was born November 9, 1956, in Forsyth County, NC, to the late Allen Emory Essick and Grace Lookabill Essick. Roger was a hard worker who enjoyed tinkering with tractors, fishing, keeping a garden, and spending time out side. In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, and several aunts and uncles. He is survived by his two brothers, Donald Able and Kenneth Essick; two aunts, Linda Fulk and Mary Handy (Jerry); two nieces, Kristina and Amanda; two great-nephews, and one great-niece. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00AM Friday, October 11, 2024, at Gardens of Memory - Walkertown with Rev. Frank Shumate officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel.
