Roger Lee Sennett

Roger Lee Sennett, 82, passed away at home on December 22, 2023. Roger was born on May 13, 1941, in Logan County, WV. He was a member of Winston-Salem First, and in recent years he also attended Westside Baptist Church with his wife, Peggy. Roger loved classic cars, particularly his 1938 Chevrolet and 1969 Buick. He greatly enjoyed traveling with his wife and close friends, cruising to beautiful destinations in the Caribbean. Roger will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Surviving are his loving wife of 26 years, Peggy Snow Sennett; sister, Lois Bailey, stepchildren, Tammy Foster, Teresa Sheets (David), William Snow (Kathryn), and Renee Cox (Joe); 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; and many friends. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, with Rev. Christa Warise officiating. There will be a private entombment at Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
