Roger Sharron

Walkertown - Mr. Roger Luman Sharron, 73, went home to be with the Lord, April 18, 2018. He was born July 3, 1944 to the late Luman Powell and Ruth Evelyn Holland Sharron. Mr. Sharron was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many. Roger loved being outdoors, he was an avid vegetable gardener, he loved sitting by the pool, working on cars, playing with his grandchildren, and even helped build his own house. He was the perfect husband who lovingly cared for his wife during several illnesses as well as other family members.

Surviving are; his loving wife, Zachry "Kay" Sharron of 47 years, two sons, Tim Sharron and Joe Sharron, a daughter; Roxanne Davenport (Mike), four grandchildren, Kristen Widerman, Kristina Howard (Tyler), Morgan Sharron, Charity Davenport, a sister; Patricia Fulp (Bill), Mother-in-law; Eunice Sexton, Brother-in-law; Gary Sexton (Brenda), Uncle Bobby Sharon, nieces and nephews; Lori, Nick, Chloe, Cole, Brittany, Taylor, and Dominic.

A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Tim Hicks officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Friday, April 20, 2018. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
