Roma Lee Woosley

Roma Lee Woosley, 83, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. She was born in Forsyth County, June 19, 1931 to Clyde Allen Woosley and Ruth Burke Tesh Woosley.
She was a lifelong member of Pine Grove Methodist Church and enjoyed attending Forsyth Park Baptist Church.
She attended South Fork School and graduated from Clemmons High School. She also attended Draughon Business College and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
During her working career, she was Lady Attendant and Assistant at both Frank Vogler and Sons and Hayworth-Miller Funeral Services. She also worked with Employment Security Commission in Lincolnton, NC, the Government on Kwajalein in Marshall Island and was a licensed insurance and real estate broker and a former Trust Officer at First National Bank.
For several years Roma Lee was a pianist at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Carolina Beach and also an organist and pianist for First Baptist Church of Kure Beach, NC.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands Carl Edward Freeman, Clayton Edward Allen and Joe Tommy Causby, Sr.
Roma Lee is survived by one brother, James A. Woosley Sr. and wife Maxine, one nephew, J. Allen Woosley, Jr., great niece Laura Woosley Hortal and husband Alex and their two sons Lex and Pablo and one great nephew Adam Woosley. She is also survived by step daughter Brenda Freeman Hunt, step niece Ruth Allen Ferrell and husband Steve, step nephew Mark Allen and wife Katie and step nephew Clayton Wayne Allen and wife Abby and their families.
A Celebration of Roma Lee's Life will be held at Forsyth Park Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, NC at a later date.
