Ronald "Ronnie" Dalton Caudill

Mr. Ronald ""Ronnie"" Dalton Caudill, 80, of Lexington, passed away on May 15, 2017 at his home. He was born October 16, 1936 in Forsyth County, the son of the late Herman Hodge and Alta Bauguess Caudill. Mr. Caudill was a member of Friedberg Moravian Church. He was a graduate of James A. Gray High School and was a 30 year employee of McLean Trucking Company and a 12 year employee of Stephen L. Mabe Building, Inc. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Glenda Duncan Caudill, a brother, Charles Clayton Caudill, Sr.; and a brother-in-law, Pat Blakley. He is survived by one daughter, Denise Terrell and husband, Wallace; one sister, Shirley Blakley; one sister-in-law, Barbara Caudill and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Friedberg Moravian Church with Rev. James C. Newsome officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:30 AM until 12:45 PM in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Covenant Class of Friedberg Moravian Church, 2178 Friedberg Church Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27127 or Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
