Mr. Ronald Franklin Myers, 85, of Winston-Salem passed away Friday, January 17, 2019 at his home.  He was born August 4, 1933 in Forsyth County, the son of the late Ransome and Nora Bates Myers.  Mr. Myers was of the Moravian Faith.  He retired from R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company and loved all sports, especially NASCAR.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.  He is survived by his wife, Amelia Rose Scott Myers of the home and one daughter, Vickie Myers of Winston-Salem.  The funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, January 21, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with The Rev. Dr. Bill Campbell and The Rev. Dr. Cynthia Williams officiating.  Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM at the funeral home.
