Ronald Jimmy Headrick, Sr.

Mr. Ronald Jimmy Headrick, Sr., 85, of Winston-Salem died Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Trinity Glen. Mr. Headrick was born April 4, 1929 in Catoosa County, GA, the son of the late Millard and Ora Ross Headrick. Mr. Headrick was of the Baptist faith. He served with the US Marine Corps during the Korean War and was owner and operator of R&L Trucking Co. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie, a granddaughter, Angelia Headrick; two grandsons, Jay and Matthew; a sister, Mary Elizabeth Gray and three brothers, Millard, Mark and Ralph Headrick. Survivors include his wife, Lois Linville Headrick of the home; one daughter, Beverly Sanders of Dallas, GA; two sons, Ronald Jimmy Headrick, Jr. of Ft. Payne, AL and Ronald Gray Headrick of Haines City, FL; two brothers, Bob Headrick and Ira Headrick of Ringgold, GA; and a number of grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 AM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.
