Ronald Odell Sparks

Mr. Ronald Odell Sparks, 81, of Clemmons, NC passed away Thursday, October 1, 2026 at Trinity Elms Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born May 10, 1945 in Baltimore, Maryland to Charles Robert Sparks and Tilda Burnette Sparks. Ronald retired from the U.S. Navy as an Aircraft Electronics Instructor. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed traveling across the country from Yuma, Arizona twice a year to visit family and friends. The power of relationships was paramount in his life, having made many friends everywhere he lived. He spoke fluent Spanish and frequently visited Mexico while living in Yuma. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Roy and Charlene, and a niece, Lisa Cornell. Surviving are his nieces, Traci Jermyn (Brad), Leigh Howard (James) and Karen Jimerson and a nephew, Randall Martin. A graveside service will full military honors will be held at a later date at Salisbury National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel is serving the Sparks family.
