Ronda Vernon

Mrs. Ronda Kaye Crouse Vernon, 62, died on March 27, 2019, at Forsyth Medical Center. Ronda was born on September 26, 1956, in Forsyth County to William and Anne Nifong Crouse. She adored her grandchildren and loved playing the lottery. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 20 years, David Charles Vernon; son, Joe Crouse; brother, Monroe Crouse; and two sisters, Nancy Crouse and Virginia Byers. Surviving are two sons, Tommy Williams (Meredith) and Ronald Cumbie; two daughters, Kayla Vernon and Dawn Cumbie (James); nine grandchildren, Austin Williams, Dakotah Williams, Hailey Brooks, Harper Stanley, Raven Price, Lillian Cumbie, Amanda Crouse, Brandy Crouse, and Joey Crouse; five grandchildren and one on the way; three brothers, Michael Crouse, Richard Crouse, and Johnny Crouse; and two sisters, Mary Crouse and Julia Crouse. A funeral service will be held at 6pm on March 31, 2019, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Mr. Tommy Williams officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
