Ronnie Lee Myers

Mr. Ronnie Lee Myers, 73, of Garner, formerly of Winston-Salem, passed away Monday, February 20, 2017 at Johnston Health Center in Smithfield. He was born December 31, 1943 in Baltimore, MD, the son of the late, Robert and Clara Stoltz Myers. Mr. Myers was a 1962 graduate of Hanes High School and was retired from US Air (Piedmont). He served with the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was an avid traveler, football fan, certified scuba diver, and lover of the ocean. He was the Patriarch of his family. Survivors include his devoted loving wife of 38 years, Cherita Myers; four children, Tracey Phillips and husband, Jerry, Jason Scott, Heather Scott and Jon Christopher Scott and wife, Kristie; ten grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. The funeral service will be conducted Friday, February 24, 2017 at 12:30 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Lee Stokes officiating.
