Ronnie Gray Penland

Kernersville – Mr. Ronnie Gray Penland, 57, passed away Friday, September 6, 2024, peacefully at his home. Ronnie was born June 30, 1967, in Forsyth County to the late Franklin Delano Penland and Evelyn Marie Howerton Shaw. When Ronnie was young, he enjoyed time on the lake fishing and skiing. Later in life Ronnie worked as a tanker truck driver for Reliable Tank Lines for 14 years. Ronnie will be remembered for the immense love he held for his family and close friends. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Flossie Howerton, and two brothers, Ray and Ralph. 

Left to cherish his memory are; his high school sweetheart, Suzanne Penland of 36 years, two sons, Daniel Penland (Mikey) and Jacob Penland; four grandchildren, Mason Penland, Addison Penland, Keeleigh Reid, and Emmaleigh Penland; two brothers, Roger and Randy; as well as Ronnie’s best friend, his dog, Taz. 

There will be a celebration of life Celebration of Life for Ronnie Sunday, September 29th at Triad Park 9652 West Market St. Kernersville, NC 27284 Shelter #4, from 2pm - 5pm.
