McMILLON - KING
Mr. Roy Eugene McMillon passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born September 17, 1936 in Surry County to the late Jennie Eva Hooker McMillon and Elmer Eugene McMillon. Mr. McMillon was a faithful Member of Trinity United Methodist Church and owner of McMillon Electric. He participated on many Missionary Building Teams in Costa Rica, Panama, Puerto Rico, and several locations in the United States.

In addition to his parents, Mr. McMillon was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Jean McMillon and two sisters, Ruth Simpson and Hazel McMillon. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Shirley Thomas McMillon; two daughters, Dianne (Steve) Phillips of Pilot Mountain and Sharon (Phillip) Boyles of Denver, NC; two sons, Randy (Alicia) McMillon of Winston-Salem and Jimmy McMillon (Ella Holt) of Rural Hall; five grandchildren: Jake (Andrea) Phillips, Ashley (Jordan) Beam, Wes (Payton) Boyles, Ryan McMillon, and Mary Lauren McMillon; and one sister, Ruby Marshall of Pinnacle.

A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 14 at Trinity United Methodist Church in King with Dr. Bart Milleson and Brother Don Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, February 13 at the church.
