Roy Franklin Smith, Jr.

Mr. Roy Franklin Smith, Jr., 57 of Clemmons died Saturday, November 7, 2015 at his home. He was born April 27, 1958 in Edenton, NC, the son of the late Roy F. and Estelle Smith, Sr. Mr. Smith was a graduate of North Davidson High School. He was a Lead Mechanic for North State Aviation. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Keeter. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Smith of the home and his aunt, Margaret Burr of Kannapolis, NC. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 2:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Elder Kacie Moore, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
