Ruby Wernberg Ertner

Mrs. Ruby Ertner passed away and went to be with the Lord on May 28, 2011. She is survived by her husband ( Daniel M. Ertner), her son ( James D. Ertner), her daughter ( Janet D. Ertner), her granddaughter ( Gail Ertner Lillard), her great grandson ( Bryce Tetreault), and her daughter-in-law ( Ruth Petty Ertner). Ruby graduated from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois, in 1940, with a major in music. She was an accomplished pianist and organist and, until moving to Winston-Salem in 2000, was the organist for nearly 25 years at Westover Church in Greensboro. She was a long-time member of the American Guild of Organists. A 11:00am graveside service will be held Tuesday May 31, 2011 at Forsyth Memorial Park and also there will be a memorial service at 11:00 am Wednesday June 1, 2011 at Westover Church ( Corner of Muirs Chapel and Tower Road in Greensboro.
