Ruby Mildred Knight

Mrs. Ruby Mildred Knight, 84, of Winston-Salem passed away Monday, January 18, 2010 at her home. She was born May 15, 1925 in Little Washington, PA. to Charles and Ida Hartman King. Mrs. Knight was a member of Glory Road Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, John Edward Knight on July 4,1997, a son, Paul Edward Knight on February 2, 2006, three sisters and by three brothers. Surviving are a daughter, Ida McFrederick and husband, Charles of Winston-Salem; two sons, Dale H. Knight and wife, Carol of Ravenna, Ohio and John H. Knight and wife, Zoanne of Malvern, Ohio; 18 grandchildren; a number of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond King of Tampa, FL. and Howard King of Rock Island, TN; and two sisters, Arlene Gougler of Florida and Vera Summers of Ravenna, Ohio. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Funeral services will be held later this week in Ohio.
