Ruby Jean Taylor

Kernersville - Ruby Jean Taylor, 82, passed away Friday, August 12, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. Ruby Jean was born on May 5, 1934 in Forsyth County to Alvin and Lenora Stigall Taylor. She had a kindred soul and was always willing to help anyone she could.

In addition to her parents, Ruby Jean was preceded in death by three brothers, Melvin, Jimmy, and Gray Taylor.

Surviving are her special friend, Berlene Brandon; three nephews Darrell, Steve and Chad Taylor; and a great niece, Tatum Taylor.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday August 14, 2016 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Kim Wolverton officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Gur Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
