Ruby Tombolato

Mrs. Ruby Tombolato, 80, passed away August 4, 2026. She was born June 27, 1946, in Bay, Arkansas, to the late Harvey and Inez Duty Kimberland. Ruby spent her early years in Illinois before settling in Winston-Salem, NC. She retired from Harris Teeter with over 10 years of service as a store accountant. Ruby loved reading, bingo, and spending time with the light of her life, her great-granddaughter, Bailey.

She is survived by her sons Patrick Fritz (Karen) and Donald Fritz (Lisa); three grandchildren, Ashley Rabold, Patricia Fritz, and Logan Fritz (Laura); two great-grandchildren, Bailey Rabold and Elijah Fritz; and sister, Sylvia Holland (Wayne). 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 22 years, David; brothers Vernon, Earl, J.W., Johnny, and Arthur; and sisters Frances and Margaret.

There will be a private family celebration of life held at a later date.

Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is serving the family.
