Ruth Craft

Mrs. Ruth Fulp Craft, 81, of Lewisville, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born January 13, 1936 in Forsyth County to Cora Gaynell Fulp. Mrs. Craft was a member of Harmony Grove United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir for many years. She was also a member of the United Methodist Women and assisted in all of their projects and activities as long as her health permitted. She was a Past President of the Lewisville Jaycettes and served with them for many years. She also assisted the Craft Brothers with their bookings and all aspects of their singing group. Mrs. Craft was preceded in death by her mother and a sister, Rachel Harper. Surviving are her loving husband, John Stimpson Craft, of the home; a daughter, Fonda C. Anthony and husband Mark of Mebane; two grandchildren, Joshua Daniel and Jacob Nathaniel Anthony; one sister, Eleanor Doub of McKenzi , Tennessee. A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, December 9th, 2017, at 11:00AM at Harmony Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Greg Freeman and Rev. Ken Eller officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, December 8th, 2017, from 6:00-9:00PM at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Harmony Grove Building Fund, 5041 Styers Ferry Road, Lewisville, NC 27023.
