Ruth Livengood

Mrs. Ruth Anne Wilkinson Livengood, 90, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Trinity Elms Assisted Living. Mrs. Livengood was born in Iredell County to the late Guy Lattimore Wilkinson and Annie Hemphill Wilkinson on February 10, 1933. When she was able, she enjoyed all types and kinds of craft making, which included painting, and knitting. Ruth Anne also loved baking and just being with her family. She was a long-time member of Clemmons United Methodist Church. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Francis Charles Livengood; son, Charles Ned Livengood; siblings, Louise Scronce, Virginia Scronce, Eupha McGalliard, Guy, Paul, and Mouzon Wilkinson. Ruth Anne is survived by her daughter, Debra Miller and her husband Fred; grandchildren, Hope Greene and husband Matt, Riane Bolin and her husband Travis; great-grandchildren, Sam, Eleanor and Anna; sister, Elizabeth Mize and husband Bob; a host of nieces and nephews that she dearly loved. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday February 23, 2023, at Clemmons United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Fitzgerald officiating. Family will receive friends 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Wednesday February 22, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
