Ruth Shapiro Ozimek

Mrs. Ruth Shapiro Ozimek, 90, of Mocksville, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016. She was born March 23, 1926 to Lillian Rickley Shapiro and Louis Duff Shapiro. Mrs. Ozimek was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Mocksville and retired from Ingersoll Rand after 13 years of service. She volunteered with Meals On Wheels and Storehouse for Jesus. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward L. Ozimek and a daughter, Patricia Ozimek. Surviving are a daughter, Susan Rose and husband Ron of Clemmons and a son, Dan Ozimek and wife Patricia of Pfafftown; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 9, 2016 at First Presbyterian Church in Mocksville with Rev. Dana Fruits officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Scholarship Fund of the Presbyterian Women, 261 South Main St., Mocksville, NC 27028, Meals on Wheels of Davie County or the Storehouse for Jesus, 675 E.
