Ruth Ann Jacobs

Mrs. Ruth Ann Massey Jacobs, 63, of Winston-Salem, passed away Monday, September 9, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born February 23, 1956 in Reidsville, NC. Ruth Ann was of the Baptist faith, who loved her family dearly. She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia M. Jones; her brothers, Tommy Massey, Richard Jones, Alfred Jones and Donnie Jones. Surviving are her husband, Jessie T. Jacobs; a son, Ronnie Massey; two daughters, Christy Massey and Ayanna McCullum; two grandchildren, Amege Massey and Zoiee Massey; one great granddaughter, Kay’lee Massey; five siblings, Cynthia Sawyers, Vicki Jones-Huffin (James), Debbie Jones, Woody Bostic (Margarita) and Darrell Willard  (Wanda); several nieces and nephews and nephews and her good friends, Susie Jones, Pearl, Sylvia Philips, Raquel Douthit, Josephine, Shannon Davis, Emily Buckhannon, Michael Robinson, Peaches Philips and Shamika Smith. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel . The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
